Convent Camino in Cork

A camino is a path on which we take a journey – a physical journey, or a journey of the heart, an outward journey and an inward journey…

You are invited to join us on our Convent Camino experiencing a glimpse of convent life in four different religious communities in one day.  Meeting at 10:00am at the OLA Sisters, Ardfoyle Convent, Ballintemple for prayer and coffee followed by moving on to the Ursuline Convent, Blackrock for a celebration of Eucharist and lunch.  From here we will journey to the Poor Clare Monastery on College Road for a time of silent adoration and tea with the sisters and then on to the Bon Secours Convent on College Road for Evening Prayer of the Church and supper before saying our farewells.  At each community there will time for the sisters there to share their story with you and for you to meet them and chat about convent life today.  Our camino is open to all who are curious, interested or inquisitive…

Booking a place is essential for catering on the day
