Sr Pamela goes to South Africa

Sr Pamela from our Kenya region is now in the Province of South Africa as she begins inter-provincial service at the St. Lucia Retreat and Training Centre. The Centre is located on the eastern bank of the St. Lucia Estuary in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, Southern Africa, which has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO protocol. It has an unparalleled natural environment, which abounds with fauna, flora and aquatic life. Since July 2015 the Ursuline Sisters of the Roman Union have taken responsibility for the management of the Centre in a joint venture with the Ingwavuma Vicariate of the Catholic Church. Pamela will be part of an international community there, with Sisters from England, France, Indonesia and Kenya. We wish Pamela every happiness and blessing as she embarks on this new and exciting chapter in life.
